Use the address-level offers as your starting point, then resolve the decision below before submitting an order. This guide explains how to compare provider information; it does not display live availability for your home.
Give Each Provider the Same Address and Conditions
When two or more providers accept your exact address, create a separate entry for each offered plan. Use the same unit number and intended service-start circumstances. An accepted order at one building address does not establish availability at another unit or nearby property.
If a provider still requires address or installation confirmation, keep its proposal marked pending. Compare confirmed candidates separately rather than letting an unverified offer set the price benchmark.
You can then select the closest comparable offered products. They do not need identical marketing names, but the service characteristics, recurring charges, and conditions should be visible side by side.
Compare Equivalent Commitments Across Providers
| Comparison item | Provider A's actual offer | Provider B's actual offer |
|---|
| Accepted address and plan | Record current confirmation | Record current confirmation |
| Service characteristics | Record the offered product details | Record the offered product details |
| Price over the same period | Include conditions and charges | Include conditions and charges |
| Start and commitment | Record installation and term | Record installation and term |
This is a blank comparison worksheet, not a claim that two providers serve your home.
Where the offers differ, state the difference directly. One may have a lower opening price but a different later rate; another may require different equipment or an installation visit. Avoid disguising these as equivalent offers by showing only one headline number.
Choose the provider using the confirmed product you would actually order. General rankings and city-level coverage can help identify companies to check, but they do not settle this address-specific purchase decision. Preserve the selected offer so the final order can be checked against the comparison.
Keep the Address and Order Details Attached
For any shortlisted plan, retain the full address, provider, plan identifier, stated service characteristics, equipment, recurring amount, one-time charges, and expected activation method. Record price conditions and any commitment or cancellation terms shown in the offer.
Read the plan's Broadband Facts label when available alongside the actual checkout summary. Ask the provider to resolve differences between the advertisement, label, and order. A comparison remains provisional while address acceptance or a material charge is still unconfirmed.
Recheck Before Ordering
Return to the same address-level offer before placing the order. Verify the selected plan and the outstanding point discussed above, then retain the final summary and scheduled service date. Do not substitute a general city listing for confirmation of the plan you intend to buy.
